At specific times during the meeting, the facilitator will ask for participants to add their comments to the screen.
The interactive tools give you the ability to add text, lines, shapes, and pointers to the content viewer.
The interactive (annotation) tools are found at the top of the meeting screen, as shown below.

The pointer tool allows you to display an arrow with your name and annotation color within the content area (content viewer) of the meeting screen. |

To use the pointer tool, click on the pointer icon to activate it. |

Once activated, simply click on the place within the content area (content
viewer) of the meeting screen where you want to place the
arrow. |

|
Clicking on the pointer icon again deactivates the pointer tool. |

|
| Laser Pointer |
 |
The laser pointer allows you to point out text
and graphics within the content area (content viewer) of the
meeting screen using a red "laser beam." To display the laser
pointer click the downward-pointing arrow to the right
of the pointer icon . |

To use the laser pointer tool, first click on the downward-pointing arrow to the right of the pointer icon . This displays the laser pointer icon . Click on the laser pointer to activate it. |

|
| Text |

The text tool allows you to type
text within the content area (content viewer) of the meeting
screen. |

|
To use the text tool, click on the text icon to activate it. |
| |

|
| |
|
This changes the mouse pointer to a text selector .
Click on the place within the content area (content viewer)
of the meeting screen where you want to place the text. The
cursor flashes at the place you clicked. Input your text.
Once you finish typing and to make your text visible to the
other participants, click anywhere else on the screen, away
from your text. |

To change the font, on the Edit menu, choose Font. |

Clicking on the text icon again deactivates the text tool. |

|
| Line |
 |
The line tool allows you to draw lines and arrows
within the content area (content viewer) of the meeting screen.

|
To use the line tool, click on the line icon
to activate it. This changes the cursor to a plus +. Click
on the area on the screen to begin the line. Hold down the
mouse and draw the line. Release the mouse at the end of the
line. |

Clicking on the line icon again deactivates the line tool. |

| |

You can also display more line options by clicking on the downward-pointing arrow to the right of the line icon . This displays the arrow options. Click on the type of arrow you would like to draw. |

| Rectangle |

The rectangle tool allows you to draw shapes, such as rectangles, circles,
check-marks and Xs within the content area (content viewer)
of the meeting screen. |

To use the rectangle tool, click on the rectangle icon to activate it. |

Clicking on the rectangle icon again deactivates the rectangle tool. |

You can also display more shape options by clicking on the downward-pointing arrow to the right of the rectangle icon . Click on the shape you would like to draw. |

| Highlighter |

The highlighter tool allows you to highlight
text and other elements within the content area (content viewer)
of the meeting screen. |

To use the highlighter tool, click on the highlighter icon to activate it. |

Clicking on the highlighter icon again deactivates the highlighter tool. |

| Pencil |
 |
The pencil tool allows you to draw a free-form line within the content
area (content viewer) of the meeting screen. |

To activate the pencil tool, first click on the downward-pointing arrow to the right of the highlighter icon . This displays the additional options. Click on the pencil icon.
Clicking on the pencil icon again deactivates the pencil tool. |

| Annotation Color |
 |
The annotation color tool lets you select the color for text, lines, and rectangles. |

To select a annotation color, click on the annotation
color icon .
A color pallette is displayed. Select the desired color.

|
| Eraser |
 |
The eraser tool erases text, annotations, and pointers within the content
area (content viewer) of the meeting screen. |

|
To use the eraser tool, click on the eraser icon to activate it. |
| |
|
|
| |
|
Your mouse pointer changes to an eraser. Click on the text, shape, or annotation you want to erase. |

Clicking on the eraser icon again deactivates the eraser tool. |
