Switching Audio Connection Modes   Support Groups  /   Technical Support
     
You can switch your audio connection at any time during a meeting with little disruption.
 
To switch from your computer connection (VOIP) to a phone connection
   
1. At the bottom of the Participants panel, click on the Audio button.
   
 
   
2. The Audio Conference dialog box appears. Click on the red button Leave Audio Conference.
   
 
   
   
3. The Leave Audio Conference confirmation window will be displayed. Click on Yes to continue.
   
 
   
   
4. The system will recognize that you have disconnected from the audio conference. The Audio Conference window will be displayed. Use the Dial-In information to connect by phone.
   
 
   
   
3. Once you have connected through the phone, close the Audio Conference - Teleconference window by clicking on the in the top right corner of the window.
   
  You will see a telephone icon to the left of your name on the Participants panel, as shown below.
   
 
   
   
To switch from a phone connection to a computer connection (VOIP)
   
  System Requirements for VOIP
   
1. At the bottom of the Participants panel, click on the Audio button.
   
 
   
   
2. In the Audio Conference dialog box, click the down arrow beside Use Computer Headset. Click Switch to Using Computer.
    
 
   
   
3. If this is your first time connecting to audio across the Internet, the Audio Setup Wizard appears to help you fine-tune your audio settings. Follow the directions to specify your settings.
   
   
4. If prompted, click OK to allow your telephone connection to be dropped after your computer connection is established.
   
   
5. Once you have connected through your computer, the Volume Control window is displayed. Here you can control the volume levels for both your speaker and microphone.
   
 
   
   
5. Your connection status will be displayed in the bottom right section of the meeting screen.
   
 
   
   
  On the Participants panel (as shown below), you will see a headset icon to the left of your name. This also shows that you successfully connected to the audio portion of the meeting through a computer connection (VOIP).
