The Meeting Screen   Support Groups  /   Technical Support

Once the meeting facilitator starts the meeting, you will see the meeting screen. (Before the meeting starts, you will see an informational page). The meeting screen displays the meeting content, gives you interactive functionality so you can participate in the meeting, and gives you access to the user panels.

There are two views of the meeting screen: normal view and full view.

Normal View

By default, the normal view of the meeting screen is displayed. The normal view keeps all menus, tools, and panels visibly accessible.

The basic components of the meeting screen in normal view are:

Content Viewer - The content of the meeting will be displayed here. The information displayed will change as the meeting progresses. At specific times during the meeting, you may also add your comments here using the interactive tools (see item 3 below).

Panels - The panels display information specific to the participants of the meeting. The Participants panel shows you who is in the meeting. The Chat panel gives you the ability to send text messages to participants. The Video panel will show the meeting facilitator. The panels are very flexible. You can open, expand, or close them quickly and easily.

Interactive Tools - At specific times during the meeting, the facilitator will ask for participants to add their comments to the screen. The interactive tools give you the ability to add text, lines, shapes, and pointers to the content viewer.

Menu Bar - The menu bar give you additional functionality, like printing and saving, setting your personal preference, getting session information, changing from normal to full view, managing panels, and exiting a session.

Connection Status - Your audio connection status will be displayed here. It also shows if your audio is active or muted.

Full View

To switch to full view from normal view, select View on the menu bar, then select Full View. Alternatively, hold down the ALT key while pressing the Enter key.

The full view maximizes the size of the content viewer to fit your monitor's entire screen.

The basic components of the meeting screen in full view are:

Content Viewer - The content of the meeting will be displayed here. The information displayed will change as the meeting progresses. At specific times during the meeting, you may also add your comments here using the interactive tools.

Session Controls Panel - The session controls panel is located in the bottom right of your screen. All the controls found in the normal view are condensed into this panel: interactive tools, chat panel, participants panel, and video.

To switch to normal view from full view, click on the back arrow button found on the session controls panel:
